Cleaning Agreement

These Terms and Conditions are effective immediately. True Joy Cleaning & Organizing LLC is a locally-owned and operated small business servicing the greater Fox Valley area. Any updates to this document will be posted on our website at:

By hiring True Joy Cleaning & Organizing LLC, you agree to be the party responsible for full payment, communication, and compliance with all policies, upholding this agreement and its procedures.

Method of payment

We accept the following methods of payment: cash, check, credit card, debit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover), and direct ACH transfers. After the initial payment, a credit card is secured on file.

Late Cancellations

To avoid a cancellation fee, please notify us at least 24 hours before your scheduled cleaning service if you need to cancel or reschedule. Our team is paid based on the homes scheduled for cleaning each day, and last-minute cancellations result in lost income for them. If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled cleaning, you will be invoiced for 50% of the service cost.

Late payment

Payment is due within three days of the invoice date. If payment is not received within this period, we will attempt to automatically charge your card on file. If the payment fails or if no card is on file, and the invoice is still unpaid, a $10 late fee will be added.

Additional Fees

If there is a change in the frequency of your cleaning schedule or an appointment is skipped, an additional cleaning fee of up to $50 may be applied in order to bring your space back to maintenance level. This fee may also apply if extra cleaning is needed after special events, such as parties or gatherings.

Estimated arrival time

We cannot guarantee an exact time of arrival. We do our best to honor the appointment time; however, all arrival times are approximate and subject to change according to our daily cleaning schedule. If your home is the first cleaning of the day, you can typically expect us between 8:30-9:30 am.

Flat-Rate Pricing Policy

Our flat-rate pricing model is designed to provide you with a fair and transparent cost for quality cleaning services. Prices are set based on key factors such as the time and effort required, the services you select, and the costs of maintaining our standards of cleanliness and professionalism. This ensures you receive consistent pricing, regardless of how long the job takes. You can confidently schedule a cleaning, knowing exactly what you'll pay.

Price Increases

True Joy Cleaning & Organizing LLC reserves the right to adjust client rates as necessary. You will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any price increase.

The True Joy Guarantee

We are committed to providing a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with our services, please contact us within 24 hours of your appointment, and we will gladly return to address the issue at no additional cost.

Refund Policy

Refunds are not issued once the cleaning service has been completed. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the service, you must notify us within 24 hours, and we will rectify the situation in accordance with our True Joy Guarantee.

Service Completion Checklist

After each cleaning service, we will provide you with a detailed checklist outlining the tasks performed. If there are any concerns or discrepancies with the checklist, please contact us within 24 hours so we can promptly address them.

Pet Policy

Please ensure that any pets that may pose a threat are secured during our visit. We are not responsible for the well-being of pets that are ill or for any accidents involving pets during the cleaning service.

Home Preparation

To ensure the best results, please prepare your home for cleaning by removing any clutter and securing valuables before our arrival. This helps us focus on the cleaning tasks and ensures the safety of your belongings.

Damage Reporting

If you notice any damage or issues following our cleaning service, please report them to us within 48 hours. This allows us to address any concerns promptly and ensure your complete satisfaction.

Lost Items Policy

True Joy Cleaning & Organizing takes great care in handling your belongings while providing cleaning services. However, we cannot be held liable for lost items that are not secured before our visit. We kindly ask that you ensure valuables such as jewelry, cash, and small electronics are safely stored before we arrive. In the rare event that an item is misplaced, please contact us within 48 hours of the service, and we will assist in investigating the situation. It is our goal to ensure your trust, but we cannot be held responsible for items that are not properly safeguarded by the client.
